Listen to Tiesto and Wolfgang Gartner’s latest, featuring vocals by Luciana

Tiesto just finished the tenth and final episode in his ‘In the Booth’ Series documenting his Club Life tour, which concluded in LA months ago at “the biggest dance event in US history” (episode one here). What’s more, he has his own 24/7 radio show on Sirius XM called Club Life which he launched during Miami Music Week 2012.

On the show he debuted a collabo between him and Wolfgang Gartner. Of the track, he notes:

“[it's] dedicated to all the DJs over the world. The lyrics are great and I think it’s a very catchy song.”

Very much looking forward to Tiësto’s forthcoming new mix album “Club Life — Volume Two Miami”, dropping April 6th. You can pre-order it on iTunes now.

Listen to Trunkz’ latest original work, dubstep for the gods

I last wrote about Calgary-native Trunkz‘ work on Comptine D un Autre ete, a track which he essentially covered and then remixed. That particular track roused some discussion about whether it is “authentic dubstep”, no doubt from the same types of people who make dubstep puritans mad by not accurately referring to certain tracks as “electro-dubstep.”

What wasn’t disputed was Trunkz’ apparent talent for writing and producing music, as well as covering and remixing. The track went on to get a HUGE amount of attention, and has garnered him some well-deserved exposure.

I predict this latest effort will turn out similarly. In fact, it may just exceed his previous effort; Ichor is just as well produced as Comptine, but is very much an electro-dubstep track that I could easily imagine a selection of top dubstep DJs playing in a peak-time party set.

Give us your thoughts!

[UNDERGROUND MADNESS] – Caan

Caan, formerly of poppy-synthy group Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, has released a dark edged eletro, heavy bass single called Every Little Thing, with recent signee of Warner Music Group, Benny Banks and the emotionally driven single is creating a buzz.

Caan has had rave reviews from music critics from publications including NME and the radio station XFM. We liked the track for its hypnotic, addictive feel. Reebok must have liked it too, as they used his audio and visual content in one of their Classics Sessions.

Having headlind at XOYO last month, Caan is due to perform at the alternative, independent summer festival Secret Garden Party.

Every Little Thing is available to

… And hear Benny Banks on the remix!!!!

Anyone think the video may have been inspired by Prodigy’s Smack My Bitch Up?

New Slugabed ‘Sex’, remixes by Daedelus, Groundislava, Molecules

‘Sex’ is the latest hella-futuristic funky disco filter-synth-pop jam from UK musical-genious Slugabed. It’s going to be dropping April 9th, 2012 on Ninja Tune – home to some of the finest musical talent in the world.

I recently got to see him perform at Barcelona during SXSW 2012, and I must say that this dude provided some musical education that night.

We also covered the Daedelus remix of this upcoming EP individually – he gave away the track for free download, so head over here to snatch that up.
